Turkey, especially relying on the cultural heritage of the Uthmalani Empire, is one of the countries that claims to create Islamic civilization through the revival of the caliphate political system. With the growth of Islamism in Turkey in recent decades, its leaders and political thinkers have tried to theorize their civilization model more than in the past. In the meantime, Najmuddin Erbakan and Tayyip Erdoğan as the leaders of "political Islamism" and Saeed Nursi and Fethullah Gulen as the leaders of "social Islamism" have played a significant role in the political and social developments of Turkey. In this article, with a maximum approach, Turkey's political capacities for the realization of modern Islamic civilization are tried in three areas of the government (the experience of the Erbakan and Erdoğan governments), political-social movements (the experience of the activities of Nursi and Gulen) and political parties (the experience of the Welfare Party and the Party justice and development) to be exploited. The result of the research is the belief that if Turkey on the one hand can realize its claim of combining Islam and democracy and on the other hand it can combine its two conflicting desires - the restoration of the Islamic caliphate and membership in the European Union - it will be a rich experience and has created success in the path of achieving the new Islamic civilization and there are many evidences that the realization of these two "ifs" is almost impossible and accordingly, Turkey's political capacities for the realization of the new Islamic civilization will be very small.
