Guide for Authors

Bi-quarterly Journal of Political Studies of Modern Islamic Civilization includes the acknowledgment of the sponsor or creditor of the research (if any) in the articles.
A) Guide to the general structure of the article

1. The topic or title contains attractiveness, creativity and refers to the issue of the article

2. Enter the full name and surname, based on the contents of the birth certificate, level of education, field of study, academic rank, educational department, name of the university, email address, postal address, cell phone number, and other authors (the name of the responsible author is necessary)

3. Abstract including problem statement, question statement, hypothesis statement, objective, research method and research result (up to 200 words)

4. The stability of the article based on the indicators mentioned in the abstract

5. Keyword in taking up to five words related to the article

6. The introduction presents the general framework of the article with the aim of answering the main question and how to test the duty and other issues stated in the abstract.

7. Examining the main concepts of the article, especially the concepts used in the title of the article and in the keyword, in order to facilitate an easier understanding of the content of the article.

8. Even if possible, providing a theoretical framework in order to move in a specific format, avoiding scattering and avoiding leaving the subject.

9. The text of the article contains four to six subtopics related to the title of the article based on the structure proposed in the abstract and introduction.

10. Conclusion means presenting the research findings and not summarizing or repeating the contents of the article, as well as presenting suggestions for examining the findings and related matters.

11. Preparation of the bibliography based on the style sheet approved by the publication

12. Inserting diagrams, tables and images in the text of the article according to the topic (inserting the title and number of tables above it and inserting the title of figures and diagrams below it)

  b) Address setting method

1. Insert the address of the sources used in the text as follows:

     (last name of the author or authors, year of publication of the work: page used)

If the used source has several volumes, it is necessary to insert the used volume after the publication year of the work.

If two or more works of the same author are used in the text, they should be distinguished by alphabetical letters.

The dot that comes at the end of the sentence, if it reaches the address parenthesis, is placed after the parenthesis; Example:

  (Asghari, 1392 A, Vol. 2: 18).

If the used source is repeated immediately, it will replace the source repetition.

Addressing the verses of the Quran should be inserted as follows: (Hajj: 18)

Citing websites is not valid in addressing.

In in-text addressing, there is no difference between books, articles, interviews and the like.

Latin translations of important names and concepts, as well as necessary explanations, should be included in the subtitle.

Addresses of Latin sources should be inserted in the same way as Persian addresses; Example:

     (Fukuyama, 1995: 21)

2. In the list of sources and sources (bibliography), the addresses should be inserted as follows:

For books: surname, name (year of publication). The name of the work in Iranic, the name and surname of the translator or proofreader, the name of the place of publication, the name of the publisher, the volume used.

For the article: surname, name (year of publication). "Article name" name of the publication in Iranic, journal number, month or season of publication, pages of the article.

Other items: surname, first name (year of publication). "Subject" type of work or source (interview, speech), exact date of interview or speech.

Sources should be arranged alphabetically by last name.

It is not necessary to insert "sh" after the year as a solar sign, unless the year is not a solar year, in which case "Q" and "M" are used to indicate the lunar and Gregorian years respectively. It is necessary to enter the solar equivalent of the Gregorian and lunar years at the same time, for example: 2011 / 1390, it is necessary to enter the year of the beginning and end of the reign, as well as the year of birth and death of personalities and kings; Example: Ghorian (673-786) and Ibn Sina (791-867) quotations of more than forty words (three lines) should be left-aligned without the "" sign. Quotations of less than 40 words should be inserted in the text with the sign "" at the beginning and at the end.

c) Other issues

1. The academic level of the responsible author should not be lower than that of an assistant professor. The academic level of one or more non-responsible authors should not be less than master's degree or less than the level of three fields. The responsibility of the declared rank and level rests with the author or authors.

2. It is necessary to focus the submitted articles on a specific issue in the journal's field of activity. It is up to the editor to determine this issue;

3. Submitted articles must be the result of research and research of the responsible author and authors and be innovative;

4. The editorial staff of the journal is free to reject, accept, publish and modify articles based on the evaluations made. The name of the evaluators and the points given are not provided to the author;

6. Submitted articles should not be less than twenty and more than 25 pages with three hundred words.

7. It is necessary to prepare and send the Latin and Arabic translation of the abstract of the article after it is finalized.

8. Only those articles will be reviewed that the responsible author, at the time of submitting the article, undertakes not to have published it before or to publish it in another journal at the same time;

9. It is possible to publish articles that have used first-hand sources in the investigated topic and are also documented, substantiated, research and analytical and have content coherence, logical structure and smooth writing and are based on the magazine's approach;

10. Priorities and delays in the publication of articles are done by the editor;

11. It is not prohibited to quote the contents of the magazine by mentioning its name. It is recommended that the authors refer to the previous issues of the quarterly when compiling articles;

12. The quarterly welcomes any scientific criticism and suggestion;

13. A printing certificate is issued for articles that have completed all the judging stages and are in the editing stage.

14. Articles received through the journal system will be reviewed.

  Guidelines for submitting articles

The abstract of the article should be less than 200 words and the word file of the article should not contain the author's name
